Holiday Cheer to New Year Attendance CommitmentsÌýÌý

New year, same commitment! Let’s ring in the new year with perfect attendance. As we approach the end of the holiday season, it’s essential for parents to start thinking about getting their children ready for school again. Ìý

After a long break, it can be challenging to snap back into the school routine. Here are a few helpful practices students and parents can do as they head back to school this January 2025.ÌýÌý

Winter Break Routines:Ìý

  • Bedtime Routines: Gather school belongings to support a smooth morning routine. Lay out your child’s school uniform, pack snacks and backpacks before heading to bed.ÌýÌý
  • Sleep Schedule: Gradually adjust your child’s bedtime a week before school resumes. This will help them feel refreshed when school begins.ÌýÌý
  • Morning Routine: Establish a routine that includes time for breakfast, personal hygiene and packing school supplies, with a few moments for relaxation before heading out the door.ÌýÌý

Getting back into the swing of things can be challenging after an extended break. With the right strategies, you can set your child up for success. It’s the smallest task that can make a huge impact, setting a positive tone as they arrive at school. Support perfect attendance at home by building routines that make a lasting impression.ÌýÌý

We look forward to welcoming all our students back from break.ÌýÌý
